Meet Ollie
Hi, my name is Ollie. My mum told me I will be a community therapy dog when I grow up. I’m so excited to meet all the new people and give lots of kisses and cuddles. I do like to give cuddles. I’m 10 months old and have lived with my human family for 7 months. I love my human family. I have two tiny humans, and it’s a big job to look after them, but I'm training to be a community therapy dog, and they say that I’m a good boy, and I like being a good boy. Mum tells me I must sit often, but I don’t understand why. But I usually get a treat, and treats are yummy. My sister Malty likes treats, too. The cat Luna, who lives in the house, doesn’t like it too much when I try to play with her. Mum tells me she is a cat, but we're friends, and friends play, so I want to play. Apparently, being a cat means that therapy dogs can’t play with cats, but that’s okay.
My smallest human has been teaching me to do tricks and fetch the ball. That’s my favourite one. I usually get a treat, too, if I stay and wait. I like treats. Have you tried them? They are yummy. Mum says they are only for dogs, though. My smallest human tells me that I am the goodest of boys. My other tiny human likes to take lots of pictures of me. She tells me that I have my own Facebook page. Have you seen it? Sometimes I do silly things, she tells me, but I’m just being me. My tiny humans laugh when I chase my tail. I’m not sure why, but it makes them happy. I just can’t get it. Maybe they know how I can get my tail. I know they will be so happy when I finally get my tail. I do love my small humans. My family is the best. They give me lots of treats and love me so much.
Mum tells me that when I’m ready, I can meet you all and give you lots of cuddles and kisses. Mum says I need to be a little bit older first, but I have met some of you on mum's computer. Mum tells me it's called Teams, but I’m just so happy I can see you on the computer. Maybe when I'm a bit older, I can give you a cuddle, and maybe we can play fetch. Do you know how to play fetch? That is my favourite game. Mum tells me that one day soon, I will be ready. I am very excited, and I can’t wait to meet you all and give you all the cuddles and kisses. I do love pats and being brushed too. Mum says I might get lots of pats because apparently I am a bit cute.
